  • Water Conservation

    Aegion believes access to safe, clean water is a basic human right, and we are a pioneer of transformational solutions to rehabilitate aging infrastructure, primarily in the municipal water and wastewater pipeline sector, to remediate operational, health, and environmental issues. We also work to minimize our impact on water resources where we operate.

  • Reduced Energy Consumption

    Aegion deploys energy conservation programs across its operations with an emphasis on fleet efficiency, including execution of fleet replacement goals and the addition of compressed natural gas boilers to reduce our diesel fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions from operations. We continue to evaluate low-carbon opportunities, including greater use of renewable energy over time.

  • Reduced Carbon Footprint

    Aegion strives to minimize both solid waste and hazardous waste through source reduction, reuse and recycling, as well as treatment and disposal. Aegion ensures that waste materials are properly stored and handled to minimize the potential for impact to the environment. Proper waste receptacles are provided for waste materials that may be reused or recycled during a project, and employees are trained to ensure proper disposal methods.
